A Word of Apology and Explanation Regarding Recent Network Outages

As you undoubtedly noticed, Dawg Sports suffered a brief outage this morning, which, unfortunately, was not the first such outage in recent weeks. I would like to apologize to the site’s many loyal readers for our temporary inability to provide you with the thorough and reliable Georgia athletics coverage you have come to expect and we are committed to delivering. The outage was brief, but it affected many of the sites within the SB Nation network. Please be assured that our technical support team is working hard to correct these problems and to make sure such outages don't occur again.

I'd also like to apologize for the fact that, if such an outage had to occur today, it didn't occur during tonight's Georgia-Arkansas basketball game. Dawg Sports is concerned about your well-being and would have welcomed an interruption of service that excused us from watching another disheartening men’s basketball loss.

Hang in there, everyone. We’re all on the job; just bear with us. If necessary, feel free to blame Mike Bobo.

Go ‘Dawgs!

i for one would like to thank the football gods and probably dionysus himself

for saving the “stock a bar” post from the purge of fanposts that seems to have accompanied said network outage.

Fortunately, the fanposts weren't purged, they're just not visible on the main page.

They’re still available in the fanpost archives, which are available here.

With a hoops game tonight

maybe SBNation is implying something with the “stock a bar” being the only fanpost visible on the main page. Cause it may need to be restocked tomorrow.

Good god man, what is it?

Just what the heck is the problem with the basketball team? I worked in fayettville a couple weeks ago and watched Arkansas play auburn. It was terrible, the score at the half was something like 24-19. They were horrible but I can’t believe that they both play better than our team! It’s awful. Even worse, they are in such a hole I don’t see them really having motivation to get better and just ride out the season waiting for it to be over. It’s sad.

Kentucky looked amazing last night. Mizzou is really good too. We are so far behind…..
